Established in 1856 in the heart of Marseille, the Fer à Cheval Soap Factory is one of the last to perpetuate the tradition of an entire city. Far from the industrial giants, real Savon de Marseille requires very special attention... Our master soap-makers keep a constant eye on their soap dough: every bubble, every smell, every noise, every hatching has a meaning that only they can translate. All the Savonnerie's know-how rests on the shoulders of these master soap-makers, who pass on their secrets from generation to generation.

In July and August, 7 factory tour slots are available daily from Monday to Friday.
A tour every hour from 09:00 to 16:00.

For safety reasons, we do not organize school visits for primary and secondary schools.

We are open all week from Monday to Saturday (excluding public holidays).
