How do you choose the right black soap?
An all-purpose cleaner, our black soap is recommended forcleaning your home, laundry, and even your garden. Made with 99% naturally derived ingredients, our various black soaps are healthy alternatives to chemical detergents. Handcrafted in a cauldron, our black soap gets its color from olive pomace oil.

- The Liquid Black Soap is recommended for daily use. When diluted, it is ready to use and can also be used to make your own household cleaning products.
- Thanks to its scent, the Liquid Black Soap with lavandin essential oil, will leave a light scent. You’ll especially appreciate this when using the black soap to clean indoor surfaces (countertops, tables, floors, etc.) or to make your own laundry detergent.

The Soft Black Soap is more concentrated. It is particularly recommended for spot treatment, such as removing a stain from clothing.
How do you use black soap?
For home maintenance
A versatile cleaning product, black soap is a must-have for keeping your home looking its best. With just one simple step, you can clean, degrease, nourish, and bring a shine to all your surfaces.
- To clean floors: dilute 2 to 3 tablespoons of Liquid Black Soap 5 liters of warm water and stir gently. For delicate floors such as hardwood or natural stone, just 1 tablespoon will suffice.
- To wash dishes: Squeeze a small amount of Liquid Black Soap onto your sponge, then scrub and rinse as you would with your usual dish soap. For greasy dishes, sprinkle on a littlebaking soda.
- To clean windows: dilute 1 teaspoon of Liquid Black Soap 1 liter of warm water. To avoid streaks, wipe quickly with a microfiber cloth.
Making your own laundry detergent with black soap
Liquid Black Soap also an excellent alternative to commercial laundry detergents thanks to its stain-removing properties. It is recommended for tackling stubborn stains such as grease, chocolate, sauces, and red fruits…
- To make your own natural laundry detergent, simply dissolve 50g of black soap in 3 liters of hot water. For better odor neutralization, we recommend adding 2 tablespoons of baking soda. You can use the Liquid Black Soap to lightly scent your laundry, or add 5 to 10 drops of your favorite essential oil to our classic version. Use 100 to 150 ml of the mixture per load.
- Black soap is an excellent stain remover: apply it directly to a stain that has been lightly dampened, then gently rub it in before washing the garment in the machine.
Caring for plants
Black soap is also widely used in the garden to make your plants' leaves shine and get rid of aphids and scale insects.
- Aphid control: Dilute 1 to 2 tablespoons of Liquid Black Soap 1 liter of warm water and pour the mixture into a spray bottle. Spray directly onto the infested leaves, paying special attention to the undersides, 2 to 3 times a week until the aphids are gone. For best results, you can add a teaspoon of baking soda to your solution.
- To clean the leaves daily, dilute 1 teaspoon of Liquid Black Soap 1 liter of warm water, spray directly onto the leaves, and wipe them down with a cloth.
