For safety reasons, we do not organize school visits for primary and secondary schools.

An authentic soap factory listed as a Historic Monument

Established since 1856 in the heart of the city of Marseille, Savonnerie Fer à Cheval is today one of the last to perpetuate the tradition of an entire city. Far from the industrial giants, real Marseille soap requires very special attention... Our master soapmakers keep an incessant eye on their soap paste: each bubble, each smell, each noise, each bloom has its meaning that only they can translate. All the know-how of the Savonnerie rests on the shoulders of these master soap makers who pass on their secrets from generation to generation.
