The story of MARLA, a passion shaped between two shores
Laury, creator of the brand and originally from Marseille, first spent several years in Montreal, where she began by transforming vintage seashells into candles. The essence of MARLA Bougies is that, once consumed, seashell candles become beautiful decorative objects to be incorporated into the home in a variety of forms. La MARLA Bougie de Fer à Cheval, a scented interlude made in Marseille
Especially for Fer à Cheval, MARLA Bougies has created an exclusive candle called "Vague", with soft, irregular curves reminiscent of the harmonious movement of the Mediterranean. A candle with soft olive-green nuances, reminiscent of the characteristic color of the famous Savon de Marseille. Crafted by a master perfumer in Grasse, its unique scent of orange blossom, characteristic of the region, will diffuse a comforting fragrance for a warm ambience.
The ceramics are made by a Marseilles craftsman, and the candle is made in Marseilles at MARLA's workshop in the 7th arrondissement. Once the candle is consumed, the container is transformed into an everyday object such as an elegant mug: the perfect moment to savor your favorite beverage while recalling the tranquility of the waves! It's also environmentally-friendly, thanks to its vegetable wax-based composition, which has the advantage of burning for a long time, prolonging the life of your candle.
