Brosse à Casserole Andrée Jardin
Configure
We offer you environmentally-friendly, beautiful and functional home accessories that reflect a true French art of living.
Discover the Brosse à casserole specially designed and manufactured by Andrée Jardin. Like the Fer à Cheval Soapery, this artisanal brushmaker based in the Nantes region is a member of the Entreprises du Patrimoine Vivant (Living Heritage Companies).
This Casserole Brush can be used on all surfaces: pots, pans (do not use on Teflon), barbecue grills, cast-iron cookware.
The fibers used are a blend of highly resistant plant-based fibers that are naturally abrasive but do not scratch.
The 45° orientation of the fibers also makes it possible to reach corners often inaccessible to conventional brushes.
Wet the brush with clean water, then rub it over white Marseille soap or your usual dishwashing detergent.
Wood care tips :
After several uses, its appearance can be altered when the wood comes into contact with water. This can lead to the appearance of cracks or stains.
To prevent or delay this deterioration and prolong brush life, the most important thing to remember is to dry your brushes in a dry, well-ventilated place.
You can also feed the wood with any type of cooking oil, after you've used your brush a number of times.
Fiber care tips :
After several uses, your fibers may have come into contact with all types of dirt.
To thoroughly clean your brushes, soak them for a few minutes in a mixture of soapy water or white vinegar. Rinse with lukewarm water and shake off any remaining water. Leave your brush to dry with the fibers facing down, so as not to dampen your wooden frame.
