lsaponification in cauldrons
It takes almost 10 days lmake our soap, which is cooked in cauldrons using the Marseilles process. This traditional know-how, preciously handed down from generation to generation of Master Soap-makers, still holds lof place in our soap factory.
A hypoallergenic and easily biodegradable soap
Formulated with exclusively vegetable oils, with no added preservatives, colorants, fragrances or animal fats. It contains no palm oil.

Olive pomace oil
L extraction l virgin olive oil creates a residue l as olive pomace. These consist of fruit pulp, stone fragments, water and a small amount of residual olive oil. Our olive pomace oil, from the Mediterranean basin, is rich in fatty acids, vitamins and antioxidants to nourish and protect the skin.
Savon de Marseille is ideal for cleansing the whole family. It is suitable for all skin types.
It can also be used as a multi-purpose household cleaner. It effectively cleans, degreases and removes stains from all surfaces and laundry, even the most delicate.
Cleaning :
Walls, ceilings
There's nothing like savon de Marseille for washing and degreasing walls and ceilings. Dilute a handful of soap shavings in a bucket of hot water. Clean la sponge broom and rinse lclean water.
Iron
Regularly clean any iron soleplate that has become dirty or yellow by rubbing with a piece of dry soap when the soleplate is slightly warm. Wipe with a soft dry cloth or a ball of newspaper to shine the surface.
Make-up brushes and sponges
Regular washing will rid them of dust and make-up residues that have built up over time. Gently soap brushes, without crushing them too much to avoid breaking the bristles. Repeat washing until lwater runs clear. Dry with a dry cloth, then turn upside down so that the brushes regain their original shape.
Mattresses
To keep your mattress fresh and clean, simply wipe the surfaces to be cleaned with a washcloth moistened with Savon de Marseille soap. Then rinse with a clean water-soaked washcloth and leave to dry all day.
Strollers, nursery equipment
Hypoallergenic, savon de Marseille soap is ideal lcaring for childcare equipment such as strollers. Machine-wash removable covers with a detergent made from savon de Marseille shavings. For non-removable covers, wash with a sponge dampened with soap. For stubborn, odorous stains, rub with soap and a little baking soda, leave for a few hours to loosen the dirt, then rinse. Leave to l.
Shoes
Scrub your shoes with lsoft brush soaked in warm water and Savon de Marseille, and leave to lwithout rinsing.
Tips :
Remove mist
To combat fogging of your mirrors, glasses...simply rub a small piece of Savon de Marseille over the surfaces and wipe with a clean cloth. Repeat this trick every month.
Unlocking a zipper
To loosen your zipper, use a piece of Savon de Marseille and rub the zipper notches.
Erasing hem marks
To remove hem marks, rub Savon de Marseille over the surface, place a piece of tissue paper on top and iron la hot iron.
Linen care :
Traditional recipe
Dilute a handful or 40g of shavings in 1L hot water and stir la gel is formed, then the lye is ready to l. Store in a suitable bottle, and shake well before each use.
Recipe for stubborn stains
Dilute 100g of shavings in 2L of hot water, add 1 cup of baking soda and ½ cup of white vinegar. Allow to cool and shake well before use.

Preserving savon de Marseille
Store savon de Marseille soap in a l, dry place. It's a living material, with a complexion and shape that can change over time, depending on exposure lair, humidity and light. It will nevertheless retain all its qualities and effectiveness. Our grandmothers used to leave it to dry for months in their cupboards, so that it would become extra-dry and last longer luse.
Making your own chips
Use a cheese grater to make shavings from a cube or bar of savon de Marseille. We recommend that you use beige vegetable soap, which is harder and easier to grate than lsoap.
